Glen Matlock San Diego Concert reviews
Nice Concert, Music Brings Back Great Memories!
Arriving at the arena at 7:30 with my girlfriend, I was eager to be there earlier but couldn't make it. Missing the first 15 minutes left me frustrated as I couldn't find my way upstairs.
I managed to catch someone's attention from the arena and was instructed to head to a section where people were lining up. Surprisingly, the 400 section was closed, but we were given 2 tickets for the lower bowl, which was fantastic. We ended up receiving $75 tickets for the $35 we paid each. It was a generous gesture. Once inside, the experience was truly spectacular. The orchestra and Anthony Daniels were outstanding, and the visuals on screen brought back wonderful memories of the saga.
I rated the concert 5 stars because the live music combined with the visuals and lasers was delightful. Despite not being a full house, the audience was engaged, and there were 3 standing ovations, especially when the Vader theme played at the end.
As for the exhibition, I rated it a 3. I'm uncertain if it was due to limited space, but there were few items and props, some of which were already being dismantled. I understand that the exhibit area doesn't remain open for long after the concert ends. My recommendation is to arrive early, at least an hour before the concert, to allow ample time to view the props. A larger venue might offer more items, but I can't say for certain. Fans of Glen Matlock will undoubtedly enjoy the concert.
